Ideally, our Drain Tech candidates have at least 1-2 years of residential drain cleaning experience but, we are willing to train the right person! Have an interest in starting a plumbing career but don't know where to start? Consider joining Collins Comfort where you'll gain an expert level understanding of basic drain cleaning tasks to start, while continuing to develop additional plumbing skills with the utlimate goal of becoming a full-fledged Residential Service Plumber. Responsibilities

What Will I Do?

  • Unclog and clean sewers and drains for the customer using proper equipment and tools
  • Diagnose problems and provide cost estimates to the customer
  • Provide solutions to sewer and drain problems
  • Protect all company drain equipment and jetting equipment against abuse, misuse and negligence
  • Work with field technicians, warehouse, dispatch and management to ensure overall success
  • Exhibit a professional and knowledgeable attitude

Qualifications

Do I have What it Takes?

  • Experience working on drains is required; including unclogging drains with electric snakes and/or high-velocity water jets and using a sewer camera to inspect drain lines
  • Knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Professional appearance and grooming
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug screen
